... completely revitalized and ...

by Simone McPherson
The other week we were very fortunate to take a few days off, well in fact we took four days off, driving four or so hours South East to where we live which takes us to the Seaside.

While Maxi and Lily pup …

… the cattle and …

… the horses had a sitter who took care of all the day to day running of the Property while we took a break, which was a Godsend.

Jackie-Jack had to come with us as he is still on his medication and is still quite weak in his joints, bless him.  So once we were all packed up and ready to go it was off to the Beach we went together with our friends.

It was absolutely Heavenly to finally be able to wiggle our toes into the Beach sand and feel the ocean as it washed upon our legs! … just, Heavenly!

Even little Jackie-Jack said, “… that is the biggest Dam I have ever seen, how far is it to the other side? … “ and …

… together with a little help he did “… take to the water like a Duck … “ or should I say …

… like the many Beautiful Pelicans who were …

…very patiently awaiting any scraps …

… after, some of us managed to catch a fish or two, though don’t be fooled by this photo of El Ranchero, he borrowed that fish from the Girls

While I just floated around in the stunningly clear waters in the estuary watching as our friends cast out their lines in …

… hope of a bite.

We were so lucky to awake each day to some wonderful Sunrises  ...

… and the days were so clear although the wind was up most of our stay however that did not deter us too much at all, as I relished all that salt air on my skin …
… then the time was up for our spell beside the seaside and it was time to say good bye as the rains started to sweep across the Ocean, which was a splendid sight in its self just watching the light and colours change as the rainstorms came down …

And before too long we were driving in through our ‘House’ gate once more; we were home again …

… and it was not too long before we were organising our week again ...

... completely refreshed, completely revitalized and totally re-motivated to take on any task and get back to work again …

… however those perfect recollections of the Seaside were not far from our thoughts at all …
